Newest offering by PC and Kristen Cast.
When I started on this book, I wasn't expecting much from it.
Considering the lacklustre reading I had of it's previous instalment, Burned.
I was pleasantly surprised.
Awakened was easy to read, leaving me contented after I'm done with it.
Next up, VA : Last Sacrifice. Last novel of the VA series.. =(

Long hiatus, more books
Back from a long hiatus..things been good now that I've ORDed.
Anyway, lots of books to clear..first up.
The Southern Vampire Mysteries aka TRUE BLOOD
I bought the boxset of the first 8 books.
This is an interesting series..though it took me quite awhile to clear all 8 books.
I would say I'm rather pleased with how the series is going so far.
Charlaine keeps adding in new characters into each book, building up the lore around the world of the supes.
Not a bad thing, though sometimes I want to know more about the supernatural than the plot..but I guess it keeps things interesting.
